Ptilotus Senarius Just Came Back From Extinction Because a Horticulturalist Uploaded a Photo to iNaturalist

A plant thought to be extinct since 1967, Ptilotus senarius, has been rediscovered in Queensland, Australia, after a horticulturalist uploaded a photo to iNaturalist. Around fifteen specimens were found on a private cattle station, highlighting the importance of citizen science.
