Procedural Generation of First Person Shooter Maps using Map-Elites

This paper investigates the application of MAP-Elites for designing First-Person Shooter (FPS) game levels, introducing novel map representations that improve characterization. Results demonstrate that these new representations generate maps with higher diversity and quality compared to previously used methods.
