Claude’s new model is more ‘honest’ when it messes up

Anthropic has released its new Claude Opus 4.8 model, touted for its "honesty" in flagging uncertainties and avoiding unsupported claims. The company states the new model is about 4 times less likely to jump to conclusions than its predecessor.
