Spotify is launching a "Verified by Spotify" badge for artists to combat spam, fakes, and AI-generated music, confirming a real person is behind the profile. Initially, AI personas or profiles primarily uploading AI-generated music are not eligible, though Spotify acknowledges the evolving complexity of artist authenticity.
