OpenAI’s Codex is now in the ChatGPT mobile app

OpenAI is making its Codex AI tool, which can write code and operate desktop applications, accessible through the ChatGPT mobile app. This move is a response to the popularity of Anthropic's Claude Code and part of OpenAI's strategy to grow its enterprise business and develop a desktop "superapp."
